”Japanese Bamboo Art from New York: The Abbey Collection, Gifts to The Metropolitan Museum of Art” The Museum of Oriental Ceramics, Osaka大阪市立東洋陶磁美術館「竹工芸名品展：ニューヨークのアビー・コレクション メトロポリタン美術館所蔵」開催
2017年から翌年にかけてメトロポリタン美術館において開催された“Japanese Bamboo Art: The Abbey Collection”(「日本の竹工芸：アビー・コレクション」展) が東洋陶磁美術館で再構築され、大分、東京に続く巡回展覧会になります。
インスタレーションをはじめ、ダイアン＆アーサー・アビー夫妻が収集した世界屈指のコレクションから、歴代田辺竹雲斎の作品、近現代の竹工芸品75点が展示されます。

It was introduced to the public in 2017, in an exhibition organized by The Metropolitan Museum of Art: “Japanese Bamboo Art: The Abbey Collection”.
The exhibition was rebuilt with The Museum of Oriental Ceramics, Osaka.
This exhibition will be a traveling exhibition following Oita and Tokyo.
Including installation, Diane & Arthur Abbey’s collection of the world’s best collections, works by successive Chikuunsai Tanabe and 75 modern bamboo arts are exhibited.
