Cromwell Place is very close to South Kensington station,
A new art spot with 13 galleries in the building.
The interior is also very stylish and cute, so I’m excited.

The Hanamushin series considers the elegance of mathematically defined shapes embodied by bamboo as intuitively appealing. The geometric form is designed by carefully manipulating the Enneper surface equation introduced by Alfred Enneper in 1864, followed by a process of discretising the surface to extract a collection of curves that accounts for the material characteristics of the bamboo by Kaijima. The curves are then materialised as strips of bamboo by the master craftsmanship of Chikuunsai IV which is perfect, yet retains the unique shimmering quality of handwork and the natural material. It is considered that the Hanamushin series is a diachronic and cross-cultural work that touches on the unspoken beauty that humans perceive.
