  • Launched by the Loewe Foundation in 2016, the Loewe Foundation Craft Prize is held annually to celebrate excellence, artistic value and novelty in modern craftsmanship.

    For the fifth edition of the prize, more than 3,100 entries were received from 116 countries and regions around the world, and Tanabe Chikuunsai IV was selected as one of the 30 finalists.
