“The Art of the buxiness of art”
In 1909 (Meiji 42), Takashimaya held an art exhibition for the first time.
Taking this opportunity, we established the art department (art exhibition and sales department).
The history of the Takashimaya Art Club, which has been a “bridge of beauty” for over 110 years
And Takashimaya’s approach to art and culture is introduced.
In Part II, the works of Chikuunsai are exhibited.
